Child Vs. Aspirator

Are you kidding me? Whoever thought this little gadget was a good idea must have not had kids or was not right in the head at the time. My kids just see me grab it and they run or start crying. UGH!! This is gonna be fun. 

In my house picture this, 

Me sitting on the kitchen floor with my thigh over my child's chest holding there hands and struggling body. They are screaming and turning their heads and blowing snot all over the place. I am breaking a sweat and my last nerve is about splintering. Geez is it worth it? Someone has to come up with something better then this. Because living in today's society where doctors believe that sick children should just ride it out. I understand the reasoning for it but I almost want to smack the crap out of the doctor. I mean really when you are sick what do you do? Do you ride it out? Or do you go get some medicine to help it along? I like every other mother just nod their heads and leave the doctors office. I really want to tell the doctor that my child needs medicine and if not is it ok if I give you a call every 30 minutes during the night when they wake up? Because that is what I am going to be doing while they ride it out. The Wonderful Life of a Mother. 

It is a wonderful life if you do not weaken.
